The bandura trio "Malvy" was created in 1993 attached to the Odessa state Conservatory named after A. V. Nezhdanova.
Trio "Malvy" made their southern bouquet out of flowers of the Western Ukraine (Khmelnitsky region) - Tetyana Markovska, of the Central Ukraine (Cherkasy region) - Galina Kasatkina and of the Eastern Ukraine (Lugansk region) - Nina Morozevich.
Graduated from:
Tetyana Markovska - Odessa state Conservatory, Class of bandura;
Galina Kasatkina - Odessa state Conservatory, Class of bandura and academic
singing;
Nina Morozevich - National Academy of music in Kiev and Post-graduate
courses - class of bandura.
Bandura trio has been working for Odessa Philharmonic Society since 1994.
They showed their real creative worth from the first days of their work.
Thigh quality instrumentalism coupled with the professional singing brings ensemble to the modern flow of music art. Scenic effectiveness, unique concert costumes, music and performance potential of each, of the actresses help trio "Malvy" to include into their repertory both traditional folk and modern music. A lot of compositions and songs were created thanks to close collaboration of trio and composers. Some of them are devoted to trio "Malvy".
The ensemble tours Ukraine and different other countries i.e. Finland,
Germany, United Arabic Emirates, France, Belgium. They were filmed in
the documentary called "Friendship or a Trip from Istanbul to Odessa"
by the Swiss TV.
Bandura trio became first prize Laureates al the International music competition
"Golden Trembity".
